Lisa Edelstein is an American actor, most famous for her roles in the Fox medical drama, House. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. She was very active in the club scene in New York City, and was able to be recognized from the news media. While doing so, she was becoming more conscious of AIDS and its devastating impacts. Then, she combined her talent and fame with her writing skills and composition abilities to produce a play called Positive Me. In the following months, she got a job at MTV and was the host of Awake on the Wild Side. After it was taken off show, she started appearing in films and television production at first in small roles and gradually established herself as an actor.
