Anita Sarkeesian (Canadian-American) is an activist in the field of feminist media as well as a public speaker, and Canadian. The woman was not stopped by the assault, the fact is that it only bolstered her drive to become a media critic and feminist. She is a recipient of numerous awards for her contribution to feministism.
