Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of the mixed race family of South London in England. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss, while her mom is English. She was raised on the South London Council Estate and went to The Brit School aged 14. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received an acting BA. In her time at the school, she performed in a variety of stage productions including King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer is that of the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in 2008. Her stage credits are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 Drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge in two episodes. It was revealed in May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following an appearance in the first series of the 3rd. From 2014 until 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe got married to her long-time lover, Iddo. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress is a member of a large family living in Hamilton, Ontario. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty and her other siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter and baseball during the summer, so that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley couldn't walk, however she danced. This led to the fact that as she grew older, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated in high school. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
