Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish as well as English descendant is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. She was the first born of a family of six children. Four are her siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district of London. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands to Hill House. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. Then she dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to work as an actress. her goals were realized when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
